West Coast's primary focus is on hotel and retail property sales and acquisitions with some work in other property types. The company focuses on transactions in California, Oregon and Washington through its own network of offices. In addition, the company represents select clients in other Western states though its affiliations with brokers in other states including Arizona, Idaho and Texas. The company's objective is to not try to be "all things to all clients", but to focus on investment properties sales and acquisitions, along with related services that benefit the client.

The objective of the Principals of West Coast is to create long lasting relationships with its clients that result in repeat investment success for its clients and repeat business for the firm in a synergistic relationship that goes beyond the traditional client-broker agency relationship. The Principals of West Coast make a concerted effort each and every day to put themselves in, "the client's shoes" when recommending the sale or acquisition of a real estate asset.
