West Coast is a boutique investment real estate brokerage and mortgage banking firm, which provides its clients with highly focused investment property analysis, sales, advisory, and debt and equity restructuring services.

GEOGRAPHIC FOCUS
The majority of West Coast’s annual transactions take place in a network of our own offices and real estate licenses in California, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.

PRODUCT TYPES
As the investment real estate arena began to mature in the mid- 90’s and electronic access to all types of market information became readily available, product specialization became more important.  West Coast recognized this trend and chose to concentrate on product types with which we had seasoned knowledge and experience.  Today the company’s emphasis is on the following product types:

Hospitality:  David Caldwell has completed more than 70 hotel transactions since 1988.  He has provided ongoing analysis and advisory services for owners and lenders of hotel properties up and down the west coast.  WCIR works with its repeat clients on hotel transactions in various markets in western states, and in other markets targeted by its clients.

Retail:  The firm has a solid track record analyzing and representing its clients selling and buying retail shopping centers. (Please see property list)

Office:  David Caldwell began his investment property sales career by completing the sale of two Class ‘A’ office buildings in 1987 valued at $25 million. In 1993 Caldwell lead a team of brokers that completed the sale of a large business park in Portland, OR at a total value of $44 million.  A portion of the same business park was sold several years later at nearly double the price.

Transaction Size: The company’s desire to be a highly focused and efficient provider of investment real estate services is reflective in our numbers.  The majority of our transactions range from $4 million to $12 million.
